Google Chrome - problems downloading multiple attachments

Posted September 15th, 2016

A recent update to the default settings in Chrome blocks a site launching multiple downloads. To fix this go into:

  • Settings
  • Click on the "Show advanced settings" link at the bottom of the screen
  • Click on the "Content Settings" button
  • Scroll the list until you get to "Automatic Downloads", about two thirds of the way down
  • Either "Allow all sites to download multiple files automatically"
  • or "Manage exceptions..." to add individual sites eg https://*

This is needed to enable the downloading of multiple photos and files attached from our job sheet, site sheet, asset sheet, and also some reports like the invoice re-print options.

Symphony Housing and JC Construction Ltd

    Posted January 21st, 2016

Integration between Liverpool Housing Trust, Cobalt Housing, and JC Construction has now been completed. This project enables the flow of jobs and notes from the Symphony Housing Group to the contractor, completed work information and status to flow back from the contractor, and variation approval ultimately leading to invoicing to be completed electronically.

This is the third Orchard Housing Management integration project that we have completed, and the second integration project with JC Construction.

For more details on how we integrate between our customers and client housing systems please Contact Us.

    Infrastructure Changes Complete

    Posted January 1st, 2016

All customers have now migrated across to the Bytemark managed servers. Along with support for instantaneous replication between nodes for immediate disaster recovery we have improved the hardware specs for all customers.

At the moment we have split customers across two identical nodes and are actively balancing the load. The servers are hosted within an commercial datacentre, and whilst the service we deliver can be described as "in the cloud", the servers themselves are dedicated for our use and are not shared with any other cloud services.

For more details on how our servers are configured for availability and reliability please Contact Us.
