MARKUS® Site system integrates with the Plant and Buying systems for use on construction and maintenance sites. It is designed to extend requisition entry and delivery processing from a central location to these distributed sites. Contol of requisition entry and passing is in the hands of the site officers to greatly enhance the quality and accuracy of requisitions. The office based Buying and Plant systems will feed from these site entered requisitions in real time to improve the response they can offer. Reporting from the site system allows the site officers to monitor the purchasing departments performance and control the whole process. Delivery entry is performed on site by the people best able to record them correctly and spot discrepencies. Real time integration of the deliveries to the office systems enhances the ability of the purchasing teams to supervise the performance of the suppliers.
