This month’s release features a new way to categorise and colourise notes/attachments. Madi has added the ability to pre-define categories of attachments so you can quickly filter/sort/see what sort of attachments have been added to jobs. The serious use for this is to highlight eg supplier invoices, or customer complaints etc. If you want to define your own categories then you’ll need to have us add the setup screen to your setup menu – but from there it is all easy to configure.
We’ve also taken the bulk job update feature from items requiring action, and added it to the Find Asset (aka equipment) report – so you can now bulk confirm asset details entered by engineers. This was a fairly low priority request from 2019 that we thought was worth keeping open if we ever had a solution that would fit. Having implemented the various bulk job update processes recently Pat saw how this issue could be solved in a similar way and worked out how to apply the same concept to assets.
Outside of our normal customer requests the team have been devoting a lot of time to core library upgrades on our stack, and along side that continuing the mobile app style refresh that we started at the end of last year when we changed the login screen, places to go, and the sync screen. Over the next few months the mobile app releases will slowly acquire a cleaner, more modern, brighter styling. This will be rolled out as other features are added to the app to answer specific requests.

- Added trade, attend-by, and category (aka scope/type of work) to the bulk job update process
