As we enter into the season of longer nights and cosy blankets, the team began work on some exciting new projects – the first elements of the ability to import invoices directly from a PDF via an AI Parser have quietly made their way into this release; we’ve been upgrading some of our core architecture so we can maintain and switch databases more easily; our new subcontractor portal is ready to go and edging out to its first pilot; and the long awaited Customer Service Portal is beng used by its first customer.
Most importantly, preparations have commenced for our Christmas customer get together party! If you check your backoffice login screen, you should have a cute “RSVP”!
New Features
- The issued operatives report now shows more detailed information when the operative has completed risk assessments but hasn’t started work
- Added the ability for engineers to see who else has a holiday booked when they use the request absence feature on the mobile app
- Enabled the timesheet mileage breakdown report to be accessed and run as just a report rather than only as part of the timesheet print out
- Allowed Split Jobs to be issued from the issue bulk screen
- Made the surveys from the split jobs show up when printing the surveys on the parent job
- Updated the suppress_edit_attachments permission to allow changing the visible to operative and client options

Bug Fixes
- Fix rounding issues with half-day holidays calculating the mid point of the shift
- Prevent MARKUS Mobile (Assets) from skipping the time allocation process when abandoning a visit part way through
- Removed apparent costcode duplicates in the bulk change livesearch when the same costcode is used for multiple contracts
- Fixed operative timesheet mileage report
- Made selecting an operative mandatory on the Operative Mileage Breakdown Report as the mileage calculation was meaningless when showing more than 1 operative
- Fixed the appointment booking report, so search by contact works
- Fixed how commas are handled in the Sage Order importer
