Pat explains more….
When issuing a job, the most time-consuming part is choosing the right operative for the task. With the new MARKUS assisted scheduling, the system does all of the thinking for you, suggesting the top three operatives and the day the job should be issued.

For an operative to be suggested, they must have a primary or secondary trade matching the job. We then look at all the possible slots, each matching operative from ‘now’ until the required date of the job. The slots are filtered and sorted based on things such as the operative’s distance to the job on that day, absences, if that operative is preferred and their free capacity for the day.
To choose which operative and issue the job, just hit ‘Book’:

This will open the same slot selection pop-up as the normal issue job screen, and you will be able to issue the job as normal and click continue to save.
If the selections are not what you are looking for, you can click the link just above the suggestion table to switch back to the normal view. And the screen will switch back to the issue job screen you are used to.
