Now that Zahir has graduated it seems our throughput has increased, and we have started to merge his final year project work relating to google maps – more of this over the next few releases! This update sees a lot of changes since July, including a major reworking of the process for importing purchase orders that makes the importer itself more flexible, and moves where you access it from so that it is more intuitive.
A cute little feature we’ve added on the mobile app is to show the job number on the health and safety screen with a handy “copy” button. Recently we’ve seen more and more contractors being forced to log in to a client’s portal as they arrive on site, and this enables the engineer to quickly log in to the right job. Alongside this we’ve also added support for any sort of certificates and documents to be stored against your engineers and quickly displayed when booking jobs out. Once again, this is driven by clients that we are seeing beginning to be less flexible about which engineers you can allocate to which jobs.
