The task of issuing jobs may seem unsuspecting at first, but here at EPIX we know this is one of the more important parts of running an efficient and effective workforce. MARKUS is chock full of features to try and make this process as smooth as possible, helping you to find the best engineer for the job whilst keeping travel to a minimum.
In this Feature Focus we explain several different ways of issuing jobs so you can pick the method that works best for you.
Issue on a job-by-job basis from the job sheet
This shows you a calendar view of all the available operatives, and shows you a star rating of how close they are to the job – based on their starting postcode – and other jobs currently assigned to them. This also indicates how good a match they are based on trade, region (if set up) and depot. However, if you already know the best person for the job, you can use our brand new feature: site-based preferred engineers to always bring them to the top. All of this can be toggled on and off so you still have total control.

Issue blocks of work by using the bulk issuer
The bulk issuer gives you a filterable list of jobs so you can quickly plan out a chunk of work for an operative. Set appointments and attend on dates for each job, and issue them all to an operative in a single swoop.

Manage individual engineer workloads by issuing from the operative diary
The operative diary allows you to see how much work has been scheduled for an operative, and easily add more work based on their trade, or whatever filters work best for you.
