Would your clients like information surfaced as geotags on images? With MARKUS’ new image geotagging feature, you can add the date and time, along with latitude and longitude, to every image.
This means you don’t need to take any extra steps to obtain the information your clients require. Simply let the engineer complete the job and take the required photos, and then it will appear in the system, with the geotag, ready to print and send to the client.
This new feature is a nice way to automatically add a level of safety and trust for your clients so they know that the images being sent are authentically what was taken when the job was done.
In the MARKUS mobile app, when an engineer takes a photo, the location where the photo was taken or attached is tagged and saved. This information is now used to add a geotag, as seen below, to display the location and the date/time that it was taken. Simple!
